A FAMILY HOME, VINEYARD, WINERY, AND GUEST ACCOMMODATION

Family, simplicity, and authenticity is at the heart of everything we do. We aim to evoke the natural flavours of the local earth, wild climate and native wilderness. Our approach to winegrowing and winemaking is to preserve as much as possible the authenticity of our wines.
We enjoy sharing our slice of paradise with our two accommodation options available - Foudre Suite and Barrique Studio. Check out our listings below.

VINEYARD

We planted our small vineyard in 2018 which consists of 1050 vines mostly Syrah, Pinot Gris, and some Pinot Noir. We selected the site because the terrain is steep, windswept and unforgiving; a perfect place to create unique wines!

OWNERS DAVID & HAYLEE

Both working professionals with two daughters Zoe and Elyse. David enjoys looking after the vines and crafting wine, with any spare time spent surfing. As a healthcare professional Haylee has a passion for people. Like many kiwis, we have a strong connection to the sea.

WINERY

All our wine is handcrafted and bottled onsite from only hand harvested grapes grown on our property. We take steps to preserve the authenticity and diversity of our wines by minimising interventions and additions.

THE WINE

Our 2023 wine is frequently described as "delicious", and it has been said with the Syrah, "after every sip you just want more". Don't expect homogenised mass manufactured wines; they are anything but.

ACCOMMODATION

We have two amazing accommodation options. Foudre Suite is our slightly larger option with unobstructed ocean views and hot tub. Barrique Studio is cosy and peaceful with access to a separate barrel sauna & viewing deck with stunning views.
